A functional set of Edward Wormley nesting tables consisting of one large table and two smaller tables that slide in and are suspended by the grooves on the sides of each table. Dunbar Model No. 308, USA, circa 1960s. An ingenious alternative to typical nesting tables, which need to be dragged across the floor. Natural walnut tops with mahogany borders and legs, and brass stretchers. The large table measures 20" w x 28" d x 22-1/4" h; each smaller tables measures 12-7/8" w x 17-1/2" d x 20-3/4" h. Excellent condition; newly refinished; some minor impressions to legs remain visible upon close inspection; some oxidation to brass.
