Joseph Burlini kinetic sound sculpture

3,400.00 6,800.00

Large, iconic example of Burlini's work. Burlini's earlier career as an industrial designer is evident in this work and his other "kinetic do-nothing machines," as he called them. This sculpture was purchased by the previous owners directly from Burlini. It is electronically powered, and when it rotates produces various bell-like and clanking sounds. The sculpture itself is 45" h (including the small square black base 12" w x 12" d) and rests upon a 36" h white-painted-wood pedestal 15-1/2" w x 15-1/2" d. The piece in its entirety measures 81" h. This item is in our Brooklyn showroom.
