Mahogany and brass armchairs by Arturo Pani, circa 1950s

These 1950s armchairs feature tapered square legs with brass-capped feet, additional brass banding on upper front  legs, and upholstered seats, backs and arms. Freshly refinished and reupholstered in beige linen. Arturo Pani, a furniture and interior designer, along with architect brother Mario Pani, were prominent tastemakers in Mexico from the 1930s through the 1970s. Mexico, circa 1950s. 24" w x 22-1/2" d x 35-1/2" h, seat 21" h. Excellent restored condition; some wear/age to brass caps/bands. Fabric swatch available. These chairs are in our Brooklyn showroom.
