Set of three nesting tables by Edward Wormley for Dunbar, circa 1950s

3,500.00

A functional set of 1950s nesting tables consisting of one large table and two smaller tables that slide in and are suspended by the grooves on the sides of each table. An ingenious alternative to typical nesting tables, which need to be dragged across the floor. Natural walnut tops with ebonized borders and legs, and brass stretchers. USA, circa 1950s. The large table measures 20" w x 28" d x 22-1/4" h; each smaller table measures 12-7/8" w x 17-1/2" d x 20-3/4" h. Excellent condition; just refinished; some minor impressions to legs remain visible on close inspection; some oxidation to brass. These tables are in our Chicago warehouse.
