Pair of 1960s heavy polished stainless steel "Hemisphere" table bases by Paul M. Jones. Bases can be used individually as a console table or chic desk with a rectangular or demilune top; or they can be used together to form the base of a circular or racetrack-shaped dining table. The diameter of the bases together, as shown, is about 42" with the bases spaced 6" apart, perfect to support a 6'-diameter or larger glass or stone top. 41-3/4" w x 21" d x 28-1/4" h each; steel is 1/2-inch thick. Excellent condition. $5,500 each. These items are in our Brooklyn showroom.
