Pair of Ugo Zaccagnini ceramic table lamps

4,400.00

These dramatic Italian lamps feature hand-painted, white-glazed designs of diamonds, zigzags and arches on a brown ceramic background. We came by these lamps separately. However, the design, size and bases are the same. They work as a pair, and that is how we would use them. However, we should point out that the glaze on one lamp is a little rougher and the color a little lighter than the other lamp. Side by side the difference is more apparent; on opposite ends of a sofa or bed, the difference is not noticeable. Sold individually for $2,200 or as a pair for $4,400. Ugo Zaccagnini, Italy, circa 1950s. Excellent condition; new antique-brass hardware featuring two standard-base sockets with pull chains in each lamp; new wiring; new linen shades. Overall 34" h x 18" in diameter; base 8-1/4" in diameter; ceramic base 22" h; shade 18" in diameter x 12" h. These lamps are in our Brooklyn showroom.
