Pair of 1959 Aldo Londi for Bitossi white and blue ceramic lamps

3,500.00

A fine pair of glazed ceramic table lamps in a textured, off-white color with a lower band of light and dark blues highlighting incised geometric decorations. Designed by Aldo Londi for the collection "Rimini Blu" in 1959 and produced by Bitossi Ceramiche. Newly rewired with new brass hardware and new linen shades. Each lamp takes a single standard-base three-way bulb. Italy, circa 1959. Overall 25-1/2" h x 12" in diameter; ceramic base is 14-1/4" h x 5-1/4" in diameter. Very good vintage condition; there is a very small chip on the bottom of one lamp, as shown in the last photo. These lamps are in our Brooklyn showroom.
