Pair of 1940s bubble and gold leaf "Cordonato d'Oro" lamps by Ercole Barovier

Stunning pair of "Cordonato d'Oro" table lamps designed by Ercole Barovier (1889-1972) for Barovier Lamp Co., Italy, circa 1940s. Each lamp features three stacked oval forms resting on a flared-glass base mounted on a circular gilt-wood platform. The hand-blown glass features controlled bubbles and gold-leaf inclusions. Each lamp takes a single standard-base 3-way bulb. Switch on neck. Unsigned. Overall 9" in diameter x 25" h ; lamps 6" in diameter x 11-3/4" h.; shade: 11" h x 6" in diameter at the top, 9" in diameter at the bottom. Excellent condition; new wiring, sockets, harps, finials and white-linen shades; glass and bases are in excellent condition.
