Gorgeous blue glazes swirl around this very large 1950s Italian ceramic table lamp with an even larger original shade. Attributed to Aldo Londi, design director of the manufacturer Bitossi. Three-way socket with additional on-off switch on the cord. Pottery is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks; minor pitting to original chrome hardware; puckering to silk on shade. Price includes recovering the shade with new linen or silk. Ceramic base is 21-1/4" h x 18-1/2" in diameter. Shade is 27-1/2" h x 24" in diameter on the bottom, 14" in diameter at the top. With shade, lamp is 48-1/2" h.
