Yellow, turquoise and blue Italian vase

950.00

This colorful jardiniere is a fine example of 1960s Italian ceramics. The canary-yellow background is enhanced by a geometric design in turquoise; interior is blue. Signed "Italy" on the bottom. Wonderful for use as a vase, planter, or alone as a decorative object. 9-3/8" h x 12" in diameter. Excellent original condition; no chips or scratches to surface; some imperfections to the glaze on the interior and bottom, as well as a white area (pictured), that appear to be original to the piece and a result of the glazing process. This item is at the 1stdibs Gallery at 200 Lexington Ave., 10th floor, New York, NY.
