White Katahdin Hair Sheep throw or rug

650.00

Gorgeous off-white pelt of a pasture-grazed sheep from the pristine Catskill Mountains of New York. This luxurious throw or occasional rug comes from a Katahdin Hair Sheep, whose coat consists of soft hair. As the weather progresses from spring to winter, the hair is augmented with wool for warmth; the wool then sheds in the spring. This is a fall pelt, so contains a moderate amount of fluffy wool. It's soft, luxurious, and unlike most sheepskin throws you'll find. 39" w x 26" d. Excellent condition. This item is at the 1stdibs Gallery at the New York Design Center, 200 Lexington Ave., 10th floor, New York, NY.
